Opipari. The name traces back to the Latin opiparus, meaning sumptuous, richly furnished.
It's a fitting irony.
I make things that try not to say too much. They start as hunches and end up in metal or resin.
The process matters as much as the result.
What's left is what needed to be there.
I'm interested in the space around objects as much as the objects themselves.
In forms that feel inevitable rather than decided.
In work that doesn't need to explain itself.
